Anger Management

Anger is a response to what life sometimes brings us, most often an interaction with another human being.  Angry feelings start with an experience of pain.  This hurt can be physical or emotional; it can be a stomachache or fatigue, feelings of rejection or loss.  The pain causes a biological arousal, a strong desire for release.  The particular forms of the release can be either creative or destructure.

Everyone has reasons to be angry from time to time; there are many injustices in the world and in our lives.  The feeling of anger is a signal, a red light telling us that we perceive something either "not right" or "not fair".  Destructive responses to anger is a problem in the world, in families, in the workplace and in relationships.

The best predictor of a positive outcome is your willingness to honestly examine and admit the consequences of your anger problem.
